Identity verification directly from Employes.

Select existing employees or create a new employee from ID Scan, start a secure identity verification and return verified personal data and documents to the employee dossier in Employes.

Connect Employes to ID Scan

The connection is configured in the ID Scan portal with an Employes Connect API token. After connecting, select the Employes company you want to use for employee verification.

ID Scan Portal → Settings → API's and integrations → Integrations → Employes → Manage

Generate an Employes API token

Create a Connect API token in Employes and enter it in the ID Scan integration settings.

Select your company

ID Scan retrieves the companies available to the connection. Select the company whose employees you want to verify.

Configure onboarding

Choose which verified document fields may be returned to Employes and which additional onboarding fields, such as address or IBAN, should be requested from the employee.

From employee to verified dossier

The Employes integration brings employee selection, onboarding and identity verification together in one flow.

Verify existing employeesOpen Employees in ID Scan, search the connected Employes company and start a verification for an existing employee using the verification template you choose.

Create a new employeeCreate a basic employee record from ID Scan and either save it first or immediately start the identity verification and onboarding flow.

Collect onboarding dataRequest additional information such as email, telephone number, address, country and IBAN in the same mobile flow before the identity document is scanned.

Return verified data and documents

After a successful verification, ID Scan can update the configured employee fields and add verification documents to the employee dossier. The Employes first name is preserved; verified document names are used only for fields configured for write-back.

Verified employee dataConfigured fields can include initials, surname and prefix, date of birth, social security number, nationality, address, contact details and IBAN.

Identity documentsWhere requested in the verification template, the front and back document images can be returned to the employee documents in Employes.

Sealed verification reportThe digitally sealed and timestamped ID Scan PDF report can be stored with the employee as evidence of the completed identity verification.

Data minimization by configuration

ID Scan only requests onboarding information configured for the integration and only returns employee data enabled for write-back. Identity verification remains a separate, auditable step and biometric comparison is performed on the user's device.
